Srinakharinwirot University : มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ

SrinakharinwirotUniversityisagovernmentsponsoreduniversitylocatedinBangkok,Thailand.Itwasestablishedin1949astheHigherTeacherTrainingSchoolatPrasarnmitandbecametheCollegeofEducationin1953.In1974,theCollegeofEducationbecameacomprehensiveuniversitybyaRoyalDecreeofHisMajestyKingBhumibolAdulyadej,whograciouslygrantedthenewuniversitythenameofSrinakharinwirot(See-na-ka-rin-wee-rote),whichmeans‘thegloryofthecity.’Currently,theUniversityhas14facultiesand12researchinstitutesandcenterslocatedinPrasarnmitCampusincentralBangkokandOngkharakCampusinNakhonNayokProvince.
